Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or services. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services through Our Space Clinic Inc., you agree to be bound by these terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and professional standards.
1. Acceptance of terms
If you do not agree with these terms, you may not access or use our services. Continued use of the site or services following any posted update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Professional services
Our Space Clinic provides psychotherapy and mental health services through clinicians registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or other recognized provincial regulatory bodies. Services may include individual therapy, couples therapy, and clinical consultation. All sessions are delivered virtually; we do not operate a physical office.
Our Space Clinic does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services. If you are in crisis or require immediate assistance, please contact 911 or Talk Suicide Canada (call or text 9-8-8, available 24/7, free).
3. Client responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during intake
- Attend scheduled sessions on time and give at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Review, understand, and sign all informed consent forms before beginning therapy
- Communicate respectfully with clinicians and administrative staff
Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or breaches of policy may result in suspension or termination of services.
4. Payment and insurance
Clients are responsible for payment of all session fees at the time of each appointment unless otherwise arranged. Our Space Clinic may offer direct billing for certain insurance providers; however, coverage is not guaranteed, and clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their insurer.
Late cancellations or missed appointments without 48 hours' notice are subject to the full session rate, in accordance with clinic policy.
5. Communication and technology use
Our Space Clinic uses secure, PHIPA-compliant platforms for scheduling, documentation, and virtual sessions. While we take all reasonable measures to maintain privacy and security, digital communication carries inherent risks. Our Space Clinic cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to potential technical or network disruptions beyond our control.
Clients are expected to:
- Provide written consent before engaging in email or online communication
- Avoid sending sensitive clinical information through unsecured channels
- Inform the clinic of any concerns regarding privacy or communication preferences
6. Intellectual property
All materials on the Our Space Clinic website, including written content, branding, and downloadable resources, are the property of Our Space Clinic Inc. and are protected under copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our content without prior written permission.
7. Website and third-party links
Our website may contain links to external websites or embedded third-party content. These are provided for convenience only. Our Space Clinic does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, content, or privacy practices of external sites. Accessing third-party websites is done at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
Our Space Clinic Inc. and its clinicians shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from use of or inability to use our website or third-party tools, unauthorized access to personal information due to circumstances beyond our control, or decisions taken by clients based on information obtained from our website or services.
All information provided by Our Space Clinic is intended for educational and therapeutic purposes and does not replace professional medical, legal, or emergency care.
